A second entrance for the coldest months

Vestibules have become one of the products we are best known for. A custom winter vestibule creates a second entrance outside the existing door, which keeps cold air from blowing straight into a restaurant, hotel, lobby or other business every time that door opens.

Every vestibule we build is made for that specific entrance. Door location, door swing, sidewalk conditions, the existing storefront, customer traffic and appearance all get worked out before anything is fabricated.

Sizes and typical setups

There is no standard vestibule size. Some entrances only need a compact enclosure around a single door. Others need a much larger structure because of double doors, high customer volume, a host area or the layout of the sidewalk.

Before fabrication we measure the entrance and work out how customers will come and go, so the finished vestibule works as well as it looks.

Lead time

Earlier in the season, a typical custom aluminum staple system vestibule can usually be produced in about two to three weeks once the design and the details are settled.

Once October arrives and the weather turns, demand climbs quickly and lead times can climb with it. If you know you want a vestibule up for the fall, it is worth starting early.

Seasonal removal, storage and reinstallation

If you use your vestibule seasonally, we can take it down when the weather warms up, store it, and reinstall it before the next cold season. We can also clean and maintain it while it is with us.

Existing vestibules

We work on existing vestibules as well. When panels, fabric, doors, roofing or other components are damaged, we look at whether those parts can be repaired or replaced rather than automatically recommending a new enclosure.
