Custom Awnings

A custom awning changes the look of a storefront and gives customers cover from sun and rain. We build to the building instead of fitting a standard size to it, with galvanized steel or aluminum frames and a large selection of fabric colors and finishes. Lettering and logos go directly into the awning, and we make fixed valances, shed style, entrance and retractable awnings, open or closed sided.

Custom Lettering

Lettering is one of the most versatile things we make. It runs from illuminated letters across the front of a building to flat cut aluminum, stainless steel, pin mounted and halo lit letters, down to clean interior lettering mounted to brick, stone or a finished wall. Material, thickness, depth and mounting method all change how the job looks, and we can work from your existing logo or turn a logo or typeface into something that can actually be fabricated and installed.

Light Boxes

A light box is the right call when a business needs to stay visible after dark. We build traditional illuminated cabinets, aluminum with acrylic or polycarbonate faces and internal LED, and stencil cut versions where the lettering or logo is cut into the face so the illuminated part becomes the design. They run from small storefront signs to large fascia signs spanning most of a building, mounted flat, built into an existing facade, or made as a projecting double faced sign.

Banners

Banners are one of the simplest ways to get a large message onto a storefront, building, fence or temporary structure without fabricating a permanent sign. We print vinyl and mesh banners, storefront and building banners, grand opening and coming soon banners, temporary construction signage and custom large format graphics. Everything is made to the actual dimensions of the location rather than a handful of stock sizes, and on larger exterior jobs we work out how the banner gets secured and where the attachment points need to land.

Indoor Signage

Indoor signage needs a different approach than exterior. Outside the job is being seen from a distance, while inside the details carry it, the thickness of the letters, the finish, the mounting hardware and how the sign sits against the wall around it. We make dimensional wall lettering, acrylic logos, metal letters, lobby and reception signs, directional and room signs and interior plaques, mounted flush or pin mounted for depth, and we can work from your logo files, architectural drawings or an interior designer's spec.

Hanging, Blade and
Flag Signs

A projecting sign gets seen by people walking or driving down the street, not just by someone standing directly across from the storefront. In New York City that matters, because most customer traffic comes at a business from one direction or the other along the sidewalk. We build them single or double faced, illuminated or not, flat or dimensional, on decorative brackets or custom fabricated supports. The bracket is as much of the job as the sign, so the building surface, the weight, the projection and the design all get worked out before anything is fabricated.

Vinyl Graphics

Vinyl is one of the most practical ways to put branding, lettering or advertising on a storefront without fabricating a whole sign. It covers the business name and hours on a glass door, cut vinyl lettering and window logos, printed window graphics across a full storefront, wall graphics and large format printed vinyl. We pick the material based on where it goes and whether it needs to last a season or years, and vinyl can be coordinated with your main sign, awning or vestibule so the whole storefront matches.

Seasonal Vestibules

A winter vestibule is a second entrance built outside your existing door, so cold air is not blowing into the restaurant, hotel or lobby every time somebody walks in. Every one is built for that specific entrance, working around the door swing, the sidewalk, the storefront it attaches to and how customers actually move through it. Aluminum framing, clear side panels, fabric sections, single or multiple doors, your logo on it, in your colors. We take them down in spring, store and clean them and put them back up before the next season, and we repair damaged panels, fabric and doors rather than selling you a new enclosure. Early in the season a custom aluminum vestibule runs about two to three weeks once the design is settled. From October on, demand climbs and so do lead times.
